I am on Progesterone and quite happy with it. I feel that my breasts have filled out more (particularly the inferior portion - previously in profile mine looked like they were resting on a shelf.) My nipples and aerolae developed nicely.

I thought about going on progesterone. Not on it yet but I think I am gonna ask for it next time I see the doc. Have a feeling he will prolly say no but we'll see.
I do have a carry letter from my shrink. It basically is a whole typed page of paper explaining things, that I am trans, that part of rle is to live the role of a woman for a year , bathroom included, blah blah blah, you know, that type of stuff.
I try to avoid going to the bathroom unless it is absolutely necessary so haven't had to use it or show anyone it yet. It's not a legal document, offers no real protection if you do get into some shit from using the women's room. It's basically just a bluff, bring it out if someone; another woman, a manager or someone similar, or a cop even, questions you on it; they may let you off, may not tho.

I can't speak to that as I haven't been off it since starting in 2014. Some doctors will prescribe and others won't. I do also feel that it helped me a lot mentally and is the reason I was able to get off an SSRI plus actually feel okay about my body (those who know me from back on another site know what a nasty state I was in shortly after SRS - loads better today.)
I had no idea carry letters were still a thing. I haven't heard about them since my early attempts to transition in 1994-9.

It was mentioned by an mtf friend. Condidering my fluidity socially and also being bisexual, it could solve some problems if I get read in the ladies room. Thanks for the response, and so glad you are better! I personally doubt that I will ever do the surgeries. And I want real boobs. They are sore, still growing.
