Waxing/hair removal near Boston?

Hey there, I'm looking to see if anyone knows of any trans friendly places that do full body waxing near the Boston, or south of Boston area. I've never done it before so I'm a bit apprehensive about walking into a place with unnecessary stares etc. as I'm still largely pre everything... And wouldn't mind something a bit longer lasting than shaving lol.
I tried one of those full body waxing kits you get at cvs... I got about halfway up my shins before I ran out of the big strips Hahahaha

If you have guts to pull hair out like that and can pick up an epilator, that has worked well for me. There is a certain amount of pain in that but it does a good job. However I am on full transition hormones and my hair is completely female now. Much to my very great delight.

I dont think I could handle the body wax thing very well. So, sorry about the Boston thing, I dont know on that one.

Come to think of it I need to do that tonight, getting lazy about it. Maybe I should dare the armpits...

We had some folks that were on the gender divergent side last night that were drop dead gorgeous with a beard and the hair and the body language. I had to keep my legs crossed - wearing jeans. And that one was staring at me, I guess I shouldn't have been drooling. I couldnt figure out their gender for nothing until they told us about it.

I did want to bring this up, you will be a client and the person will be giving you a service, they will not judge you on what you want - that is not their job. What you ask of their services, they should give to you.

Unnecessary stares - is it really that much of a bother? Sure, people will glance, may throw a quizzical look, just smile and be on your way. Most of the time, people will not even care, they are there for their own reasons.

Don't let apprehension or self-consciousness get in the way of doing what you want to do I understand being nervous due to this being your first time but over time, the nerves will dissipate. All it takes is baby steps, you'll get there!

It is becoming more common nowadays for men to go waxing or getting laser hair removal than it was 10-15 years ago. It's become more socially acceptable nowadays for men to take care of their appearance, e.g. neat, trimmed beards, some may even groom eyebrows and so on.

Just a little experience with waxing on my part. Get ready. Not for the pain of the actual waxing. That is not really bad or not for me. Waxing only lasts up to eight weeks. When the hair starts to grow back and then ingrown, the bumps until the hair grows in and so on. Not to mention you have to go a week or so in order for the hair to grow enoughfor the next session. That is worst for me than the actual part of ripping the hair out. And sometimes a wax don't last a whole eight weeks. It may only last 3 or 4 weeks.

To actually test it and see how it will feel try your bikini line and then see how it grows back. But yeah shaving everyday sux but I can have hairless legs everyday instead of waiting for the hair to grow enough to wax again.

If you want it permanently gone then invest in a Tria. The initial cost may be high. It may take a lot of work but in your own home you can watch TV and use it. Waxing every month or two or the money you put out in blades. My hair isn't quite right for Laser treatments so I'm SOL.

A little bit of advice, Trim you hair down to a quarter inch and then try the waxing. Wash the strips and go at it again. You can also do a cold wax with lemon juice, sugar and water. You can make this at home. Youtube has some really good tutorials. Just follow the instructions and make sure the wax doesn't get too hot in order to be pliable.

My spouse just bought a Braun epilator with a five star rating at Amazon for her legs. So I thought since I quit halfway through clearing my face some time back that I'd borrow it, now I know why I quit electrolysis!
Holy shit that was painful!   I'll no doubt try it again next week just because I'm dim of wit.

LOL its for your legs and chest silly, not your face.  Gads I can't even imagine....

I use that, it works great.  You get used to it...use it less...on hormones.

You can use Braun epilator for the face, depending on the brand you get, if it comes with a face cover over the epilator head. The one I had in the past had one. I did my neck under my chin once and let's just say... male facial hair is rooted in deeply, especially the area I attacked with the epilator. It plucked a few deep hairs out swiftly and ow, blood.

I sorted out my fees for study, thankfully, I can get my course payments placed onto a loan, which will be paid off when I acquire a job after studying. Before the loan, I had to postpone my plans to androgynize my body this year via laser hair removal/electrolysis. Now I can go ahead with my plans...! Very excited. Chest hair is becoming very bothersome but want to tackle the facial hair first. Anything to reduce the amount of times I have to shave. It's every day at this point. I initially wanted to keep the facial hair in case I need to "prove" my male-ness for transition related stuff but then I think, there are so many different types of men, I just so happen to be a guy who dislikes having body/facial hair. Heck, my dad himself, hates having facial hair, he sees no point in it.

I used to run a lumber center up North many miles from here. Many of the male customers had beards and mustaches with food stuck in them, discolored by cigarette smoke. A few looked like walrus's because the hairs had become so coarse over time. It was disgusting, and I wondered how any woman would ever want to snuggle up to or kiss something that repulsive. Just my take, so no offense intended to anyone.
