How do we reverse the negative feelings transgendered people feel towards Jesus? They should not be there, these feelings.
I would say it starts first from within the person. Not looking at the past, or at bitterness, but instead looking at the heart of the author of life itself, the One that made us for His good pleasure, in His spiritual image.
If He was here, what would He say to us?
Pray for them. Love those who persecute you. Tell them of Me. Feed them.
He would want us to reflect His love and strength and joy and sadness and reach out to everyone we come into contact with.
I talk about loving to bring shame. I am in error. I need to love to bring life and a changed attitude.
And I think it starts with praying for everyone on the forum, and for respect for those who sacrifice much to serve our God. Including those in the church, it is His church, they have so much to offer us, the truth is there, but He knew that there would be error in the church, so He said to examine their fruit.
Error can be corrected it should not be hated.
The start of the healing is within our own circles of influence. Unconditional love, respect, tolerance, and above all, pointing the way to the Christ that ate fish around a campfire with the most wonderful collection of misfits ever, and changed the whole world with His love for them.
And I am quite ashamed of myself right now for falling into the sins of pride anger and fear and letting this affect those I love around me for it. I ask your forgiveness for this, as well as the forgiveness of others that saw me blow up on the suicide thread. It is just a sad fact of life, another casualty. There are many casualties in life,many lessons to learn,we will learn.
