It’s kind of cute, but annoying, when cis friends (especially the guys) are trying to be sensitive and supportive by overusing my pronouns. They seriously don’t have to say “hey girl” or “hey lady” or “hey madam” every time they message me. I'm not saying it's bad or wrong, it's just like, "ooookay, thank you for acknowledging me, but... chilllll."

Hey Lady, I know what you mean. It took me a while to get used to hearing myself referred to as a "lady". I don't mind it at all, but if it's over-used, well, yes, it can be a bit annoying because it doesn't sound sincere. It's not spontaneous. That said, "girl", "lady" and "madam" are all preferable to "b***ch". But of course nobody would call me that, sweet thing that I am.
