New habits here.
Up early, prayer, then get the kid to school.
One full hour professional dance excercizes, after a small orange juice with the oil in it.
Then eggs on wheat, and start the workday at 930.
A break in the morning doing vocal excercizes.
Then its all family support, some 12 step recovery work in it, finally read a story from Thornton W Burgess to the grandson to put him to bed at 9, do some writing and self examination (I don't like what I found there, although my actions are correct and mostly helping others, what's underneath isn't very nice), play one of the guitars or the synth, last night was glorious on the deepmind 12, wait for the family to turn off the crap on tv and head for bed to take care of the wife till 11. Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat.....
Health feels a bit better. I stopped taking sugar, started calcium, d3, folate b12 and k2 mk7 at night.
Dropped about a pound already and the liver pain has dropped from a 3 to 1 or none - that fast.
The dance will help osteo.
So, back on track and dealing with the ptsd stuff head on, winning mostly, and still waiting to let go of the house and get out of debt.
Self care also extends to physical on the sh'e side of it. Shaving and keeping that up, but have a full beard and non binary presentation most of the time, socially folk have no idea that I am nb trans female physically unless I talk about it. Which I do to raise awareness.
So, if that helps anyone, that would be nice.
Becky's wife had a tumor removed from her brain this week. They are doing ok.

I'm still not really all that comfortable talking about it cis people. Probably because I haven't done it that much.
Had a rare Friday off and went out into the suburbs and went shopping.

Binary people tend to talk not so much about being binary as they do about the other binary or trying to pump up their own. But really, it isn't like its a discussion of gender to them, its more like who has the better car or truck. All in all, gender is like talking clinical sex for them, just like nobody really talks about it in other than terms of desire. Talking about gender is outside the range of what they consider to be just another aspect of their lives, and rightly so. Nobody really gives a shit but when confronted with the idea that their simplistic views of gender are on a level of a ten year old, they get all defensive. Adults tend to do that when they are confronted with the idea that they have the maturity of a ten year old. So they either don't care because its to embarrassing to admit that they are ten years old or they get overly defensive. Gender isn't a thing a to them, but sexuality is and is majorly so for almost adults and adults alike, and then the sexuality boogeyman of gay and lesbian enters into the mess. So any discussion of gender has to be defined as gender which is a separate thing from sexuality and if a cis person can't tell the difference, there is no reason to even have a discussion. Thats about or over 75% of the cis population and thats giving them a shot ton of credit. Just know that most all people have certain aspects of themselves and others that they actually understand and care about and NB is just one of hundreds of aspects that people can have and most people do have hundreds of things they care about. Realize that talking about space travel to a neanderthal is not going to be much of a topic of concern for them.

Health feels a bit better. I stopped taking sugar, started calcium, d3, folate b12 and k2 mk7 at night. Calcium supplements are basically useless, look up like veggies that are high in calcium, the raw stuff in supplements just isn't useable and you can get more than enough from the foods you eat. B1 is pretty important as are all B vitamins, but the best useable version of B1 is benfotiamine, it is especially good for high blood sugar which can be a problem as you get older. You don't use up very much calcium, but it can be stripped away from bones and leave deposits in arteries and thats what actually clogs them, once that starts then the cholesterol sticks as well. The idea behind D3 and K2 as MK7 is that combination moves calcium back to the bones and helps to keep arteries clear. And run away from vegetable oils except olive oil, those cause inflammation and that in your brain causes all sorts of problems as you age, the stuff is virtual poison just like sugar is.

Watching One Piece on netflix, not the animated but the live actor version. Its hilarious, goofy, and so far just fun overall. Good sets and oddball acting, really good acting for the roles.

Watched Love and Monsters on Netflix and it was way better than I thought it was going to be, sure the monsters are not that good but certainly good enough. Light comedy and the dialogue is better than average because of it. Watching Inspector Koo on Netflix again because it's got a lot of off hand comedy thanks to a character Santa, who talks through an AI voice through his phone which doesn't match his looks at all. But while Koo is fun, its Santa who really makes the show for me.

Record high temp today and will be again tomorrow, all the snow is melted and the lake is ready to ice out from the way it looks. January was cold, but nothing out of the ordinary, last dec was pretty warm though. But it goes back to normal friday and thats not bad for here, highs around freezing and it goes above that by the end of the month. So all in all we had like some snow, inches is all instead of the usual around four feet or so, I mean they never plowed the parking lot this year. March can have some really big snows but it generally gets warm enough that even a foot of snow is a nothing. All the really cold records ended up south of here, and same with the snow, I like this kind of winter, a not very winter winter.

It's been in the 40s at night in Florida all year. Not getting above 70 much.
Listening to late 60's early 70's music, while working detailing in division 8 construction. Folks at work quitting left and right. I have it nice, just have the mental challenges from living here and soon will be getting the professional help I need, and documenting everything.
I've been flaming the republicans on facebook, and they deserve it.
But today is a good day, last mental breakdown lasted a full 10 days, same old same old, but I'm coming out of it more, it's still a problem though.
But for today, the music has me, and I feel like myself again for the first time in quite a while. And that's good.
So yah, funny weather here. Waiting to retire, 4 more years maybe, and waiting for the house to sell so we can get out of debt and have less headaches.
I like that the 4th circuit ruled that gender dysphoria is covered under the ADA act. If anything saves us, it'll be the courts and the truth coming out about it all.
Rock on. Let the music flow, flashback to the 60's and the 70's, best years of my life really, especially the late 70's.
Let the music carry us away.

Officially it was the all time recorded winter up here, a foot of snow overall instead of the usual five feet or more, tons of record high temps and only a week or ten days in Jan were below normal. Winter of over and has been for a couple weeks now when it is usually not over for another four to five weeks. It's looking like the next month is going to be well above average, not so much climate change as its the effects of El Nino'. It's really nice to see the republicans failing in such a humiliating way and trump failing as well, the rights circus is nothing anymore than just clowns and their clown show. So sick and tired of maggot dribble and it really seems as if the rest of the country is sick of their constant shit for brains antics. And yet they still haven't realized that nobody wants to be like them and even the ones who still are, are questioning their sanity, its a big insult to be considered a maggot and trump supporter now more so than it ever was. It's like the other day when someone was going on and on in the store about this and that and I just had to ask, 'what are you, some kind of republican?' which made more than a few people laugh, just goes to show, you know... Watching a Korean series called Mr Sunshine for the third time, don't let the title fool you, it takes place in the 1800's when Korea was still Joseon, a mix of old and the new takes place and its truly an epic show. It's one of the best shows I have ever watched, the story weaves through time and peoples lives and is true to the history of the time, well acted and a great storyline.

Well we had a pipe break inside a wall again, this time at our home, and apparently there was a history of a leak there so there was really bad mold and it took my wifes health way down. So the house we tried to rent out that is our retirement home wound up being kind of a lifeboat and we are back in it.
I finally got to work with my psychologist and she is really good, feels good to talk to her.
So, downsizing, I have to combine my office and studio into a room half the size of the old studio, and we have my daughter and her two kids as well.
But overall feeling peaceful and happy, sure we are going to lose a lot of stuff but we needed to anyway, and most of our things were on the second floor so they were not affected by the mold.
We expect to be fine.
I haven't been watching politics, which helps really, and we'll need to start watching something again, I am honestly thinking of watching the Expanse again for the fourth time, I like it that much.
Still looking deep on a personal level about a lot of things, things I don't like about myself that I would like to do away with.
Hope folks are doing ok and happy and not to lonely. I miss the day to day sharing of life, I still am doing crazy hours and spread really thin which makes it so hard to sustain being there for those who I care about outside the family unit.
Hugs.

The things we don't like about ourselves, and this is true for anyone and everyone, are like a bad addiction. They might be hard to overcome but treat them like you would anything that is killing you whether right away or slowly draining life from you. Never fear getting rid of the things that serve no immediate purpose, or even in the foreseeable future, they are the useless that you spend your energy dragging along in the hopes that they will somehow do something someday. Politics? republicans are gone, they are now the MAGA party and unless you are a maggot cheerleader hoping that the clown trump is going to somehow save you, have become nothing more than cheap entertainment in a way similar to a really bad horror movie. Life is for everyone a series of mistakes and bad timing, if you are lucky you get a break now and then, it never goes according to plan, if it did we would all be bored to death from the stable sameness. Its rarely about actually winning, it is more like deflecting the worst of it, getting ahead is just the ability of enduring the bullshit. Down sizing myself lately,.. feels good to get rid of so much useless stuff that just accumulates for its own sake.

Up here in Canada we seem to do the same things as you on a more muted level. Right wing leaders in Saskatchewan and Alberta are playing to their idiot base with various anti-queer policies. And now the leader of the Conservative Party has taken that tune up. It's important to tune them out and live a little.
As for me, I'm marking again, but also planning for 2.5 months doing research in Toronto, France, and the UK. No complaints there! And then back here for canoeing and fishing.

Ahhh... the arguement against LGBTQ people. What would change in the lives of the right if suddenly there was none? Have you ever noticed that the right goes from group to group of people that they pick on and claim if only. They never stop to realize that the rest of the world looks at them and says to themselves if only. They talk about themselves as if everyone should be looking up to them when they are barely and in some cases not even relatable to as subhuman. The take on the right is that they never grew past that high school problem of being the first one punched at an otherwise friendly party. They view brake checking as a sport while driving, being a karen as the neighborly thing to do, never thinking past the limited ability they have to think of themselves only. They are not patriots, they are not prolife, they lack a moral base to work from and have no world views that take into account that they are just a small segment of people compared to the world population. They detest science because in order to even begin to understand it they have to have the capacity to think along with the capacity to learn something new, anything past what they learned in eighth grade is just to hard... Consider that their name calling of everyone else in the world is at best a five year olds ability to call you poopy pants and then realize that their leader is in all likelihood a poopypants. I feel genuinely sorry for people who do shit their pants on occasion being compared to the likes of trump, nobody wants to be called a racist bigot just because they shit their pants like the rights leader.
