Just for fun and for some rather narcissistic attention
which of my names do you like better and why, from my selfish view, and why did you choose your names, so we can gush on yours?
Funny my real name, the first one anyway since in rle I have a stage name and a birth name, it is one of those names that can be male of female. Just change one letter, pronounciation is the same. God has a sense of humor it seems.
So for me, Trinity, or Satinjoy? Both are descriptive of trans experience for me LOL.

I liked SJ cuz it was faster to type (my laziness).. But Trinity is nice, I like the mental visual scenes I get from Matrix when I think of it.. "get up Trinity... Get up... Get up Trinity.. GET... UP..!" lol
Just my real name the past few places, before that, Crashoverride, Electric gypsy, PejicSixx, BlackRoseMusic, Floridaboy, and a few others I can't even remember.?

Trin is double entendre I think, if I have the definition right.
It reflects triune gender.... core/fluid social/ physical...
It is one hot chick that i can identify with and as from the Matrix, and I like the whole theme of deception, dreams and finally seeing the real.
Satinjoy is accurate as when I am sh'e, fully, I am very gentle, loving, kind, emotional, and sensual.
So I kinda use them interchangeably, or like Trinity Satin Joy, a full name LOL.
I cant make up my mind about it.
I remember floridaboy Mark. The others, not....
See ya my friend.

You asked for it, I do like both Trinity and Satinjoy BUT together as Trinity Satinjoy they are beautiful! They just sound and feel in tune with each other a delightful combination suitable for someone as lovely as you.I will still refer to you as SJ cause its easier to type and I hate typing ! Patty

Am thinking that I may now use TSJ!
Names are important and I have tried a few - Helen and my current name have had the greatest longevity. Helen was chosen for me, but it seemed to be a better fit when I thought of myself as a binary MTF.
Later when I understood myself as NB I felt a need to leave Helen behind. I looked for a name used by M and F. I wanted it to be distinctive and to capture a sense of myth or of faerie. In the end I found Aisla. It referred an island off the coast of Scotland in the Irish Sea. Local legend said that on some nights you could see the faerie folk lighting their fires. Later saw a keep built and later again it was abandoned to the sheep. It struck me as a good fit. I like it best when it is pronounced 'eye la' so I could further feminise it to Isla but I don't know.
I think that a name either resonates immediately and it calls to you, or it takes time for you to discover that it is a comfortable fit.
Safe travels
Aisla

Have been looking at Norse Viking etymology and it appears to have an earlier derivation from the words meaning "elf victory" which I prefer to another attribution which is to Elizabeth which means "God's beloved". Given that my birth name in German means "spear brave or spear hardy" by a twist of fate I seem to have 2 names which capture my NB journey. Feeling quite delighted.
Safe travels
Aisla

Trinity -- as I like the spiritual connotations, and have always thought that the reoccurring tri-part model of the mind was fascinating.
Elsa Delyth roughly translates to "beautiful truth". I also often go by Wosret, an Egyptian Guardian Goddess, meaning "the powerful", and has been referred to as the theological equivalent to the girl next door archetype.

I like Trinity. Three. One the other and somewhere in between. Not to mention mind, body and spirit, or the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit. But being nonbinary a trinity explains a lot to me and how I feel. Sometimes one, sometimes the other and sometimes a combination. As for my name, I didn't chose it. The name on my BC. My mom wanted a girl so... She got one but in kind of a messed up way. How messed the fuck up???? My middle name is Dana. That is another one that could goes either way. Maybe I was born to be trans. Fate is a funny thing and destiny don't care. So Jamie Dana _____. Last name I will never tell. Wow. Too much info for someone wanting to remains somewhat anonymous. I better shut up.

Freud never even used the word "subject" as it suggests a unity of the individual that he considered both too philosophically laden, and false, as he considered the individual to not be individual at all, but tri-part.

Fate is a funny thing and destiny don't care. So Jamie Dana _____. Last name I will never tell. Wow. Too much info for someone wanting to remains somewhat anonymous. I better shut up. Levinas had an interesting take on the trinity. He considered Jesus to be maternal, to have maternal instincts. Or, he separated, or interpreted it in this way: the father is essence, or self-sameness, the son is alterity, or difference (otherness), the potential for change -- and the holy ghost is like the ground, or stage. Essence is masculine, and alterity is feminine. De Beauvoir, however, criticized this as sounding ridiculous when read by a woman, highlighting the "phallocentric" nature of philosophy, always painting the feminine as different, mysterious, and often present solely for masculine growth.

I am having fun watching the comments. Lol. I have my own views, spiritual, religious, gender ....core physical social... Or core and spectrums And I like bikes, black lace, androgynous, passion, triumphant love and fast bikes debunking a world of illusion. It's fun, this name, I would use it irl. I remain Trinity Satin Joy
