For all of my life, I look in the mirror, and see a woman's eyes looking back.
I used to want to beat the mirror up. I hated having a woman's eyes.
Everywhere I went, her eyes stared back at me.
When I told my shrink, four months in, he said there was no difference between male and female eyes.
We each looked at the other like they were nuts, he paused, and started typing, and handed me my hormone letter.
Now, I love having women's eyes. But there are times I see more than that now.
Do you have the eyes of transition?
Curious about how you experienced your face, through the years.
Blessings

That's an interesting concept: the eyes of transition. It's not something I ever thought about. The only thing I've noticed about my eyes is how their shape has changed. They are wider now. Just look at my eyes in this timeline image.
Sometimes I see a woman in my reflection or selfies, but it all depends on the light and the angle. Standing in the bathroom and looking in the mirror I still see the old me, just thinner with softer features. I still get "sir" everywhere I go. I can't wait for that to change.
