The Oliver and pirate pics are my faves. .I'd do that look in a heartbeat as the pirate.
They all are cool.
Thanks for opening up like that, trusting us.
That's huge.

A question for those who identify as bigender or genderfluid.
Do your male and female genders conform to gender stereotypes or smash them?
Do you have a binary presentation, no matter which gender you present as?
I know bigender and genderfluid are non-binary identities but I can't help but notice that for a non-binary identity, their gender expressions of their bigender or genderfluid identities are pretty binary.
I know that gender expression is distinct from gender identity and shouldn't be put together but society does this anyway. Its shitty but curious to know what you all think.
The first genderfluid person I met seemed to conflate sexuality with his gender-fluidity. When he felt female, he has to shave his entire body, wear wigs and lingerie. In sexual situations, he is submissive rather than being dominant when he is male. He also considers himself a switch and is active in the BDSM community.
Do you see what I see...? To me, it looks like he is conforming to gender (and sex?) stereotypes of what it means to be a man or a woman.
Not that there is anything wrong with conforming to stereotypes, if that is what he's happy and comfortable being as a genderfluid person, more power to him.
My male and female self are so close to one another that they may as well be the same person. Both are flatchested, androgynous in appearance and like the same things. The only defining factor is they have different genitals but I disregard this because who would want to be defined solely by their genitals? They don't have any say in my sexuality because they aren't linked to that... just my sex, being physically male gets a say in that if that makes sense.
What do you think?
I am somewhat like that, I want to shave my body and wear lingerie when I feel like like a girl. I tend to keep my hair long enough not to need a wig. When I'm feeling like a guy, I still like the long hair, tend to wear men's thongs and bikinis, not that there's much difference. Also still not liking body hair, though am a bit self conscious of visible leg and chest stubble, though might actively let face stubble grow out a bit. Really, not too much difference, I always want to look good, while this is sometimes considered a feminine characteristic, there are plenty of cis-women that don't seem to care how they look, to their detriment, for whatever reason.

I don't think I smash them, the presentation is generally seen as male from the front, female from behind, but that's cis or cis binary conforming people who do that. I can tell if people get it, some do. I see trans people when I'm out and about in the community, I tend to notice details about people. I see a lot more nonconforming younger people than I do transsexuals going for a binary look. It's a pretty accepting community, bigotry is by far more unacceptable than most anything else.

Ignoring the agender component of my gender identities for the moment, for me, it's like both my masculine and feminine sides are about mid-point of each end of the binary. In other words, my feminine side is neither super-girly nor butch, and my masculine side is neither super-manly nor effeminate. Femme or butch, manly or effeminate, androgyne or male femme - these would all be the furthest points from both of my gender identities. I am not at some mid-point of the binary spectrum, where I want to downplay or emphasise both masculinity and femininity; I am at around the mid-point of both ends of the binary spectrum. I'm a little feminine and a little masculine and a lot agender. The result is a gender expression that is a bit feminine, a bit masculine and a lot unisex.
