I have been watching this since yesterday morning when I woke up.

To me this is not a hate crime other than the extremist hated and his whole twisted ideology and other hateful groups that twist religious and spiritual views to create a world in their own image instead of concentrating on love and acceptance. This was and is a terrorist attack on a group of people that Islamic extremists have targeted just like all "infidels" which is pretty much anyone they don't agree with or like. ISIS even took credit for it. And not to mention the plot that was foiled for the gay pride parade in LA. Coincidence? I don't think so. Connected, maybe.

This is going to have to be stopped because too many people, not just LGBT but Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, good hearted true followers of Islam and just about anyone else that these terrorist organizations have deemed infidels or enemies or just anyone that do not follow their ideology they will brutally murder.

Trinity you are right about comparing them to the Nazis. Europe and the US let it go on for too long and gain too much power and did not pay close enough attention to what the mindset was of the group that the whole world was pretty much foolish enough to think that the "beast would not be loosed". The terrorists organizations have declared war and our world leaders are just taking the attitude of, "Stop it you". I just never hope these organizations never get a thermal nuclear device because they will use it. Enough devices they will destroy the world. Does anyone think they care? Hell they commit suicide to produce mass casualties. But we and the rest of the world are allowing Islamic states that actually harbor and sanction these terrorist organizations ( I will not even name them anymore with the exception of the first time of the one that took credit ) to gain nuclear capabilities for the so called sake of energy production. Really? Is that what our world leaders actually think the outcome will be. Nuclear power from some of the oil richest countries in the world? I don't think so. they are slowly building an arsenal and we are letting them. Even encouraging them is sometimes seems.

The less we do and the less our politicians will properly identify the problem then the more shit like this will happen. Yesterday Obama did not even mention Islamic extremist terrorist attack. Just a terror attack. This wasn't just a car bomb going off in a crowded parking lot with 5 or 6 casualties. This was at least 49 people shot down in cold blood. which I am sure that more will die from their wounds especially with a .223. The round hits and it tumbles because it is so light and the reason why the US military uses the 5.56 instead of the 7.62 for personal assault rifles. 7.62 goes straight through but a 5.56 round is less powerful and does maximum damage with minimum power. But again when Obama spoke he talked just as much about the need for stricter gun laws and used the 100 some odd killed and injured as a platform for his agenda. Yes it is good that there was a police officer stationed outside the club but there should have been some type of armed security detail inside too.

Don't get me started about the DHS. In order to drive a truck I have to produce a Real Birth Certificate in order to renew my CDL. If I want to pull Hazardous materials I have to be fingerprinted and have a background check done and if I want to deliver to docks and such then I also have to get fingerprinted again and another background check for a special card. Neither of which is a one time thing but every time I renew my license with HazMat which is every four years and every time I renew the card which is every 5 years. Yet this asshole was on the FBI radar not once but twice for claiming terrorist ties? They complain about lack of resources well how about let's start looking at who is the viable threat and who is not. I really don't want to say profiling people but there are certain patterns and I would say being investigated by the FBI for possible terrorist ties is one hell of a pattern and when he bought those weapons it should have thrown up some red flags through the background check and there should have been scrutinized more.


This is not gonna' stop until we address the actual problem. Gays being hanged from cranes in Islamic states that follow strict sharia law and people beheaded and sometimes rather slowly and not quick and painless just because they have different ideologies. Women being killed and mistreated for not being male while the men will rape them, beat them, humiliate them and then after they do that, they will blame the women for being raped and then execute her or blame and punish her for getting raped. And it happens here in the US too with some extremist muslims. Hell there have been a few cases where fathers have killed their own daughters in the US.

This is not really a muslim problem because there are many that are good and come here to escape the extremism. They can embrace the American culture and ideals while still maintaining thier own beliefs but they are not extremists. The extremists pose as these loving and moderate followers of Islam until they get the order or just go off the tracks and then we have a massacre like 911, Orlando, San Bernardino, Ft. Hood, Little Rock and all the others attacks not to mention France and other places in Europe. 

But in the face of great tragedies is when we as human being come together and stand with one another. Just like 911, the whole world stood with us except for the jihadists and as a nation we were one. There was no left or right. There was no white, black, brown, red or yellow. There was no gay or straight or cis or trans, we were all Americans for a while. Much like yesterday. It was not LBGTs that were murdered but fellow human beings and fellow Americans whether visiting this country or undocumented immigrant didn't matter, they were all considered American and had been murdered in cold blood.  We had been attacked as a nation because of our openess and acceptance of others. It may not seem like it sometimes but we really are an accepting country. Yes we have our problems between one another but the whole country did not see the victims as LGBT just fellow humans that happened to be LGBT and innocent victims. I have not heard one extreme comment from any christian group or any other religious group other than extrem islam that said these people deserved what happened to them because of the way they lived thier lives. It was almost like the whole country and possibly world except for the extreme islamic organizations that stood shoulder to shoulder with the LGBT community. Oh yeah I am sure there are some that have off the wall shit to say but as a whole though.

My heart goes out to the families and friends and victims of the murdering coward that commited suicide by cop. My heart goes out to the survivors that will be effected maybe for life with questions like why not me? Or seeing gruesome images over and over again that should never been seen outside of a warzone. But actually you could call what happened at Pulse a war zone. War was declared a long time ago from these people and organizations but we refuse to take their threats seriously. Oh yeah for a while we will and then it will just fade away in the minds and ideologies of career politicans.

My heart and gratitude goes out to those courages cops that responded with courage. Especially the 11 that had to kill the shooter and witness the carnage inside. The MEs, EMTs and any first responders along with the clubgoers that witnessed and then helped others that faced carnage that should never happen short of a horrific accident such as a plane crash or explosion but this was no accident though. This was mass murder and the LGBT community was targeted. Not just the LGBT commuinity but the nation and our openess and acceptance of people. It was an attack on free society everywhere worldwide. Except for extreme islamic states ruled by sharia law.

I am not blaming Muslims or the Islamic religion but rather the extremists that want to force everyone into thier own little narrow minded world and if you don't fit then you are executed or tortured to death. Or if you are woman you are a second class citizen or if you are LGBT that you are executed just because you are LGB or T.

I do not blame anyone other than who should be blamed and that is the cowardly shooter and the organization that claimed responsibilty and the Countries that harbor, support and or fund these organizations.

Sorry for the rant but this is how I feel. Hate involved yeah. But extreme islamic terrorism too. It walks like a duck and talks like a duck it damn sure ain't no chicken. Its a fucking duck no matter how hard you wish it was a chicken.

See, now Jamie, I have to agree mostly with what you had to say, except for a things like when you said Muslims who come and embrace American culture because it's more of the other way around, they have to assimilate into our culture otherwise they'll face discrimination, hatred, and racism from ignorant. Americans. Assimilation is more of adapting and for survival or otherwise have to face discrimination.

And I honestly didn't follow any national or mainstream media because all media is bias especially mainstream media. I was watching and following everything on tumblr, which to say is not the best because there's tons who don't really source check on there, but I'll trust tumblr posts after source checking waaaayyy more than any mainstream media.

Also, in my opinion it is important to keep the news to say it was a gay club, and the massacre was based off homophobia/transphobia. When news and the media erases the identities of those we lost is even worse!! DO NOT ERASE THE IDENTITIES OF THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES. The LGBTQIA+ community is already erased from history, buried, misidentified, or just not even spoken about. Let's not let that happen to this!

Plus, the reason why we shouldn't let the media erases our identities and turning it more into islamphobia and about terrorism is because no one wants to admit that they share and have homophobic identities with the shooter! They don't want to admit and acknowledge that they share a characteristic with the shooter!

And honestly the fact that all these hypocritical homophobes who vote against LGBT discrimination protection laws, and speak hatred towards us, going around saying "pray for Orlando" "the loss of lives is horrible" shut the fuck up!! You don't care about us!! You don't care about fighting for our equal rights when we're alive! Don't give us your fake sympathy!

Plus, let's not forget that it was also Latinx night and had a black Trans headlining at the club that night. We've lost lives of people of color! We must not let their identities be erased!!

Also, I don't what you're talking about, but I've seen so much praise, joy, and people saying we got what we deserved from the Christian side! They are reveling in our deaths and blaming is for it! Please, we need to protect our LGBTQIA+ family, and we definitely need to protect our Muslim lgbtqia+ family in this time where they'll be facing tons of unjust hatred and discrimination as backlash from this incident.
