With me not being out on Facebook, and most of my "friends" being from NC, I've seen more hateful jokes and posts than I'd care to remember. To a lot of them, this has become their new civil war, even bringing out the Confederate flag. I can't believe I ever thought some of my "friends" were cool. I'm about at the point of quitting Facebook altogether, though some of my friends are possible allies and some are at least against HB2. I try to tell myself these are people who I haven't seen in 10+ years and probably would've never heard from again if Facebook wasn't created... Hating dumbasses are gonna' hate. Just find new friends. As for the confederate flag, I have no problem with it at all. I honor it because I have ancestors that died for that flag and not one of them owned a slave. They fought because of Lincoln's suspension of Habius Corpus. Or however you spell it. They didn't even fight for slavery, they fought because of a violation of constitutional rights by the federal government. Hell I had family that fought for the south actually hide slaves and help them escape. Unfortunately Veronica, a lot of people have no idea what that flag represents or the southern states secession from the union represents. A lot of ignorant people use that flag for nothing other than their ignorance of what the flag stands for and how many people died for that flag that never even had enough money to own slaves and so on. I was in the military and how many people have died for the US flag because of power hungry politicians? So when you see that flag and people are advertising it for hate, they are idiots that haven't a clue of the southern state's real secession from the union . Hell I live in the south and where I live now, most people accept LGB's but the T's are becoming more and more visible and out there. Even though some haven't a clue about the "T" in the equation down here. Unless they are just over the top.

You wild litle minx. How bought a fireplace and fur beadspread to go with that... LOL. I love a fireplace and the fur bedspread can be laid out in front of the fireplace but for the bed room though? Satin sheets at least and the comforter don't really matter but.... I won't complain no matter what. As long as he is gorgeous.

It really serves no purpose for me to overly concern myself with what my old friends there think, as I no longer live in NC, other than it makes it certain I won't be moving back like ever. This is going to be in the news for quite awhile, as it will likely be a long court battle, and it's all everyone in NC is talking about, including my family there that I'm not out with which has made for some awkward conversations... I think the Republican politicians there are just using this as a hot button issue to try to bring out the voters in November, since they can't use gay marriage anymore, is what I say to them, and that really is why this has happened now.

I'm so very pleased that the Obama administration sent out letters nationwide to all school districts, informing them that transgender students are to use the restroom congruent with their gender identity.
While the letter does not have the force of law, it does warn that schools that do not abide by the administration’s interpretation of civil rights under the Title IX law may face lawsuits or loss of federal aid.
"There is no room in our schools for discrimination of any kind, including discrimination against transgender students on the basis of their sex," Attorney General Loretta Lynch said in a statement.
So very pleased. While the law hasn't been overturned yet, it's only a matter of time.

I think the Republican politicians there are just using this as a hot button issue to try to bring out the voters in November, since they can't use gay marriage anymore, is what I say to them, and that really is why this has happened now. In the face of opposing positions, of course I am the Devil's Advocate though, it isn't the Republicans only. The Democrats are just as guilty but folded in their ideology in order to gain or keep power. There are just as many LGBT Republicans as there are Democrats. But this election term, both parties seem to be showing their true colors. For instance I remember when Obama supported marriage laws for genetic males and females. Hillary too. You can bet your ass that they didn't suddenly become enlightened. They changed their stance to keep power. The ideological Republicans didn't have enough sense to look what was coming down the line and actually listen to the American people. Of course both parties are "idiological" (not a typo). The established career politicians hate Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders is an Independent which runs with the Dems. Well a socialist anyway. We are seeing what the party leaders on both sides think of outsiders. Trump overcame all the rhetorical political BS. Yes. I am paying more attention this election season than any other. Now some of the republicans that signed an oath to support the nominee are just disregarding a signed document and not supporting. Then we have Mitt Romney. Kind of reminds me of the song Dr. Feelgood by Motley Crue. Specifically the verse when they talk about Rat tailed Jimmy and being a "two timer losing running out of juice". Really? Give it up. When you lose twice WTF? For the bathrooms though, Donald Trump believes it should be up to the states. I believe we should all, LGBT and cis, have private restrooms with sound proofing and scent proofing. But in reality, there are enough of us and enough of the "Feel, DoGooder celebrities" that will boycott states. But yeah it should be a state deal and when they lose tourism funds from supporters and our sympathizers then they will change their tunes. Hell I live in "Hollywood South" so even though it is still strictly male or female restrooms, as long as you are dressed accordingly and use the restroom for the way you are dressed no one makes a big deal out of it. If they do, they do and then say sorry and leave. Hell down here there are a lot of cis women that I find really questionable. OK a funny story sort of. I went to a casino a while back dressed as a guy even, well sort of anyway, more "guyly" than "gurly". I walked into the Women's Room and saw no urinals and thought, "Oh Shit! Someone is gonna' complain about a pervert in the restroom." I found a stall, pulled my pants down and pee'd and then pulled them up and walked to the sinks abd washed my hands and left. No one said anything and there were others in the restroom at the time. Maybe it was a casino and everyone was drunk or had a gambling high but maybe, just maybe, they weren't paying attention or didn't really care because when you gotta' go, you gotta' go. Personally though and this is just my opinion, but the more we push and others push for us the more resistance we are gonna' get back. I think we take out time, keep doing what we a are lawfully abided to do, the more sympathy we will recieve. I just hope no one gets hurt in the process. But what cismale wants to pee in a urinal next to a MTF that rasies her skirt and lowers her panties next to him in order to pee? One word of advice though, always keep a little protection in your handbag and easy to get to whether pepper spray or tazer. This would be how we may gain sympathy. Hell with my hair and the way I look most guys look at me funny when I walk into the men's room even as a guy. There is a right way and a wrong way and force is never right. Especially in his day of percieved governemental overeach. We need sympathy in order to get what we want.

"There is no room in our schools for discrimination of any kind, including discrimination against transgender students on the basis of their sex," Attorney General Loretta Lynch said in a statement. So very pleased. While the law hasn't been overturned yet, it's only a matter of time. Personally I would rather use a gender neutral restroom. I know how girls can be. They can be worst than boys even. Boys may beat you up but girls will spread rumors and they always have a way of finding out. I believe instead of bathroom bills and us getting all the shit because of freakin' politicians and instead of getting used by politicians for political correctness and their so called "caring" let's have a sensible and educational discussion about gender and what it means. Some think it means we can decide. I didn't decide. I had no freakin' decision in the matter. Let us actually tackle the subject of gender instead of sex. OK so I am still sort of non binary and if dressed as male I use the men's room. But if I dress as female, why should I be subjected to use a men's room and discrimination? Possibly even bodily harm? OK I never really had a problem before dressed feminine. Now I'm really worried way more than I have ever been before. I am not the prettiest woman but not the ugliest either. Just a normal woman even if MTF. I will say that I have made mistakes before and dressed and presenting as a man have walked into the women's restroom. Nothing ever said. It may be the hair or it may be the jewelry or whatever. I just think that most cis women didn't say anything because they may have thought it a legitimate mistake. In the same token I have seen Transmen in the men's room and had no problem with it. Most idiots couldn't even tell and if so they were probably attracted to them without even knowing. Shit I thought they were cute but when you use the restroom next to someone that kind of ruins it for me. I have no idea. I do not want to call attention to the bathroom issue. If you are dressed and have a hard time passing, well there are cis women that have a hard time passing. OK my south is coming out now but I knew a woman and bless her now because she died but she had worst stubble on her face than me. We hug and kiss on the cheeks down here and OMFG. I do not choose my friends by labels. I choose my friends by character and integrety. This lady my have been Trans. I don't care. If so I just wish she could have told me before she died. She always called me pretty though and always commented on my earings. Sometimes it does become too late.
