The blue and green swirly stuff under the purple and red swirl is really interesting, there is something there that draws the eye back to it as you look at the rest of it. It has a nice 3D effect going on there, like it is floating on the background.

The swirls are awesome, Valerie! Keep it up! I can see you doing a canvas entirely of swirls and selling it Swirls are mesmerising.

I just think I didn’t get the rune accurately perfect! I plan on tripping on acid during summer, and listening to music & painting seeing where I go with it. I been practicing on mainly smaller canvas sizes, but might try bigger ones around then. It looks like I’m starting to get into a style I like which is mainly just very abstract like that! And I love the aesthetic of purple, pink, blue, and greens together. I like just picking whatever colors or brush that seems to jump out at me in moments, and just let the brush strokes do their own thing. I don’t really like planning my paintings I just like being spontaneous & enjoying the beauty of chaos and vibes & energy following freely

Orange green and blue, sounds bad, but they go together really good if you just use those as mostly the primary versions. But do try to plan some stuff, if you get something that you like, then try to make something again with the same thing. Even the most spontaneous stuff isn't that spontaneous, you are thinking about it as you are doing it, not planning is good, but improving on a concept is always good. I watched a guy sticking his fists into cans of paint and running at a wall and hitting it to leave splats on it, as he was doing it, it was total chaos until very close to the end, it was like a ten foot high painting of Jimi Hendrix. Pollack did the same thing, starting was chaotic and he didn't really have something in mind so much as he watched it start to become something, and the chaos turned into it. Just uncontrolled chaos looks like that, but when you make something doing that and can see even more to it, then that makes it into something. You see a spot that just needs something and you pause and then do it, that takes the edge off chaos and leaves the same feeling, but it also becomes more than that. Your stuff has always improved it seems, and I expect that it will even more, so be inventive, and you don't have to buy those spendy canvas's, you can use anything you want, even a piece of wood works. The old painters do that, to hell with the cost of canvas, a board is a lot cheaper and is stiffer and is going to stand up better, same with paints, they are just oils and powder stuff that makes color. Look into making your own supplies, then when the moment hits, you have plenty to use.
