Getting home safe and sound. I was visiting relatives who had a place in Nags Head, North Carolina (Outer Banks) for the week. I had taken my motorcycle out as my wife had the car (she was out there as well, but different work schedules allowed her to head out earlier.) I froze on the ride home; began at about the freezing point and it only got so warm as 12C/54F by the time I got home. That wind chill factor kicks in exponentially as you turn up the wick on your ride. I had to stop at a store once as I went over a mountain pass and buy newspapers to stuff under my leather jacket to keep from freezing. You must live not far from Jaime Renee!

Today after dinner, we watched an old classic movie with Katharine Hepburn & Peter O'toole, it was such a nice afternoon.. I was explaining to my wife about Katharine Hepburns dresses, all picked and made by Coco Chanel, and these movies where the actresses wore mostly male looking clothes, lots of suits and jackets, were the first look at modern androgyny.. She always thinks I'm weird cuz I know more about fashion and the history of, than she does.. Hahaha...
Sometimes it's really fun having a feminine side, and being able to prove it.! Lol.. 8-) Yes, seems like Katherine Hepburn and Lauren Bacall made pants suits become vogue for women. Both were glass ceiling crashers!

Last night, my boyfriend told me I am special to him and that he is happy with me. Oh yeah. Also, I was invited to this place. I hope I don't piss people off too much. I'm a bit prickly.
Us prickly folks gotta stick together! Oh my god! That is soooo cute!

Playing the original Zelda for NES on the big screen HD TV my stepmum managed to snipe for only around $100. I've always wanted to play one of the old, super low tech games from my childhood on a big, modern set. I don't know why. Just something about the juxtaposition amuses me, I guess.

Caught up with 3 girl friends and former colleagues who I worked with in the early 90's A great lunch It felt that no time had passed I guess that good friends remain good friends no matter how many years pass They really hadn't changed Took the opportunity to come out to the last of the 3 who did not know I was trans. Great reaction and totally supportive. Another catchup already planned for after Xmas. I understand that a full cross examination and even more difficult questions are coming my way.

Meanwhile my wife surprised me by explaining that the reason that she has drawn a 'line in the sand for Oct 2015' is that she thinks this is only 'being fair to (me).' She thinks that the next 12 months will determine how far I wish or need to transition and whether our marriage is sustainable She said that she thinks that I need to make a decision and stop trying to do the right thing by everyone else. Wow. Still digesting this. But it feels like love, a lot of love. Am a little overwhelmed by this.

She released the controls, be wise, dysphoria seizes these moments, but so does love. Personally I take love every time. Blessings Trinity Satinjoy

Oddly enough, a 16 year old kid that I know that was in the grocery store and we discussed cereal for about 5 minutes. He thinks I should like something other than Crunch Berries for some reason, so I had to explain why I chose those over all the others. He tried to get me into a conversation about cereal treats after that and why I should try the crunch berry treats to complement the cereal I chose. A nice, but slightly weird kid, lol.

Realizing that nearly everyone on this forum calls me by my actual name. No one on the last one even remembered it. I smile every time I read it.

Put up all the outdoor lights while the princess decorated inside the house. We're way old for this, but there's a lot of families in the neighborhood with small kids so no grinches here even though I hurt all over. I humored myself as I thought of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase and Beverly DeAngelo, I LMAO every time I see that film. "Careful Sparky!"

I had a training ahead of an event next week: a STEM Career day at 29 local middle schools. I'll be presenting a unit that's based on a major league sports team who is one of my employer's customers.

Edward Low is being brought in as a character in Black Sails! I am ridiculously excited! Probably because I was already excited by Charles Vane, Jack Rackham, Anne Bonny, and Ben Hornigold in season one. Also, I am so darn glad that a work of fiction is actually using Low (who was a notoriously brutal sadist) rather than the usual habit of using Blackbeard (who actually wasn't that bad) as some super evil dude.

He was obviously hitting on the attractive blonde chick hoping that she was a cougar. Trust me I know sixteen year old boy's motives for engaging an older female in a conversation like that. It had nothing to do with cereal and everything to do with raging hormones and teenage fantasy. Now if he was a Down's Syndrome kid that might be different.

I've known him and his family for a good while. He's just a silly kid, always has been.
