Today my colleague and best female friend started to criticise my style, saying that no woman would actually wear stuff that I am wearing on a daily basis (she did admit that she likes my current (her words) "boyishly artistically hipster-ish style" better than the previous one (which was something like mixture between urban an military style). Later on she said that wanna go for shoe shopping and I offered her some company. We did not end with buying any shoes, but I suggested that we go and do some "more feminine t-shirt" shopping. A couple of things which we learned - we have totally different tastes Which looked nice to her, was totally "meh" to me. I finally figured out what is the difference between male and female t-shirts. We actually picked three ones to try, but... (here comes the fun part) - when I realised that we had been actually shopping on the floor which has female clothes only and that there are shop attendants in front of changing rooms and I am carrying three items, I literally froze, then turned around and put them back on their shelves. My colleague tried to offer some help and take them with her but I just could not push myself to do it. Ugh, it is gonna be more difficult and I am starting to admire those people who go full time without any HRT at all.
I guess it is then thrift shops and online stores for now.

My sister is a woman and, last I saw her, she wore "boyishly artistically hipster-ish style" on a daily basis. I know for a fact she is/was not the only one.

women dress differently in different parts of the world. i have a female friend who dresses in a very boyish style. she likes comfortable clothes and hates heels with a passion. to her mother's grief. parents from bosnia, girl grew up in norway. the offspring will never wear expensive fur coats, even if she can afford them.
you'll find women wearing all kinds of clothes. some have no style at all. won't make them less woman.

I see style challenged women all the time and have often smiled to myself and thought, "wow what a fashion statement!" Not everyone has innately good style sense, it has to be something that has to be cultivated in some starting at early childhood. My mom was one of those fashion challenged types, when I was real young and sort of a little fat round boy my mom would buy me T shirts with broad horizontal stripes so that all that was missing was wings, two antennae and a stinger, I could have doubled as a bumble bee!

I think most people are guilty of doing this in some way?
I have a buddy who had a pink shirt and at the time was wearing thrift store stuff mostly, weird cheap crappy looking clothes, so I would mess with him and say that he is gay (he was married and is remarried now and has a daughter even). That was a few years ago for me but I think that is how most guys think, if it is not baggy or typical macho type stuff, then that person must be gay.
It works the other way tho too. When I first started somewhat presenting in therapy, my therapist made a comment about my pants, saying that where too lose, have to be tighter in legs and waist. I can only do online shopping still and while I a agree that they are a bit too big, still, was obvious she was stereotyping about what a women should look like and what kind of stuff she needs to wear. I do think women do this more than guys do tho, with things like, gotta wear makeup, long hair, match everything, look a certain way. Co-workers of mine at work were doing it as well, talking about a waitress who worked there ages ago. Anyways, it was about her not wearing a bra, they were going on for like 10 minutes about it, saying it is nasty, stuff like that; all I could do was chuckle and roll my eyes at the whole thing. It's just like, who cares?

Look pretty much like this everyday... Would rather look like this. Working on it. (If I lived closer to a city I would wear urban camo, kaki Dockers ) Would look like this... Lower part looks kinda similar... oh, well, memories from the past Needless to say, I dont dress to work like that . And I had exactly that type of belt but gave it away to my best male friend.

Hunter/Jump? Full Arab? Looks like it to me, I really like the bloody shoulders. Had a mare I called Cat for a few years. Was into Straight Egyptians. Back then, it was jeans and grey t-shirts. I'm not much for being a fashion statement. Geeze I miss being around Arabians, any horse really. In the summer a few use our road to the lake, sometimes they stop to talk. Just leaning into the horses to smell them, get that smell on my hands for awhile... Made my day.

Nope, we were training for reenactment-jousting disciplines - I know that several from our group ended up with participating in local and regional Medieval-themed events, but in my case ""sh*t hit the fan" and suddenly nothing of that seemed important anymore.

They're not "style challenged." They just have a different style.

apart from the ones who don't have any style. there are some who don't care enough to create something like that.

OK I don't know if this is gonna' work but not me but really similar to what I used to wear driving and even pulled over a couple of times so let me see if I can add the Jpeg. This was pretty much my uniform in the summertime even a little belly showing when I was skinny. Maybe a little more pink thrown in though.

BTW that is not me but similar to the way I dressed for the most part. I mean being pulled over for random inspections driving dressed similarly? Really? Everytime I was kind really scared of but I was always treated with respect though. I guess they felt a lot safer with a trans woman than some of the other people driving trucks. Since everything was always in order and I was really nice and even kind of cute I guess that was sort of a plus. OMG there are a lot of trans truckers out there, more than what some may even begin to guess.

You sure don't look anything like your former self, the change in appearance is amazing!
