Bled this time? Like when you pulled it out? It shouldn't. Do you understand what milk blood means? Once the needle is in, you pull back on the plunger to make sure you're not in an artery or vein. If blood comes back, good chance you're about to mainline, probably not a good idea with hormones. The term comes from like junkies who pull back to get blood, and then to inject a little more, then do it again. Milking it to get those little rushes each time. Whenever you are injecting other than directly into a vein, you always do this. Watch someone giving you a shot to see if they do this. Most do, the price of mainlining most injectables is too risky. I always do that, I forgot and hit an artery or vein with penicillin in a horse onetime. Dropped it right there, faster than I could pull the needle out. He survived, but it was close. I almost not only killed a stallion, but one who had a very rare bloodline, the last of it's kind. That horse would be worth around $250,000 in today's money. My breeding program almost vanished in front of me. Plus he was my baby. He liked to hold his front leg up and against me sometimes. He always rested his head on my shoulder and sometimes, we'd just watch the sunset before heading to the barn. I could trust him to rear up and come down on my shoulders with his hooves so gently it wouldn't hurt or knock me off balance. I could call him and he would come running full out at me and skid to a stop within a few feet of me. I would hold his halter out for him and he would flip it up and back on his head so I just had to buckle it. Half the time I didn't use a lead line, I just held my hand like I was. He'd turn, halt, and start just by moving my hand no more than an inch. He would do all of this in an arena full of people watching, in liberty class (running free). Fricken show off, he was. Yep, almost killed him. I always checked after that, always.

You don't hear about the downsides of it very much. For all the fun things, there are wickedly bad things as well. There is an amazing amount of tragedy as well.

Oh, well, apart of being bitchy, I am also getting those nice mood swings usually triggered by 95% of the human population (which as we all know are idiots). There are few things which I hate, and one of them is when guys try to be smart with me about things they have no idea. I was picking up kiddo yesterday to take her over to my place (the second home as she calls it) and we were taking public transport. I noticed that we had one of those bus drivers who most probably had that childhood dream of becoming F1 pilot (or just a random suicide driver, dunno). So, during one of those stops, he turns around towards us (being in the front seats) and starts explaining that I am not watching my child carefully as there might be situation on the road, she might fell out of the seat and that would be my responsibility. He also said something about children being prohibited to sit there (which is complete BS, cause front seats are for parents with kids and elderly persons). I turned to him and told him that if something happens it will be his responsibility not my, and there should not be any "situations" unless the driver is complete moron and does not know what he is doing - and I have slight suspicions that this might be our case too. Ugh. And last night I had a dream about two ex-convicts, who tried some sort of mugging on me and other people. It ended with me bashing their thick skulls with my bare hands, and then again and again (cause they did not take that first lesson). Really. Wtf??? And then I log into the other site and there is topic about "When did You finally accept Yourself as a woman?" - I wanted to post something like "I am afraid that day will never come", but decided not to do so. I do love HRT and mental effects which it brings in general, but there are times when I am not sure who I am or what I am. And I fething hate those moments

I really like your hair and your glasses, Emily.
And good on you for telling that driver off, hehe.

Yup I hit a vein. It's 48 hours later, usual hormone high, but I am unusually spacy. As in my short term memory is whacked, which has been typical of dose changes. Or I'm tired. Who knows. Pics. I injected too low on the leg. And the close Attachment Deleted up is the result. Needed to be one to two inches higher up. Will try your pump thing next time.

I tried the pull back, got the injection site right this time, better insertion. I always have a few moments of...are you kidding...before I get enough nerve to stick it in.
On pullback, a tiny .05 or less bubble came out and rose to the plunger.
I figure it's normal.
Still have the bruise, half faded.
Thanks for the advice.
Emily when you have THC I get why Ativan slowly backed off. You're probably an ass kicker when provoked...
