Not at all. And that got me ...ummm...
It doesnt take much. This thread makes me horny.
And if a hand touches? I just melt.
An embrace held a moment too long? Where i pull away and they dont let me but pull me into them? She just takes over...i never forget those moments either...
Strong arms around me? I am done, its so intense...
Oh yes, totally she that way. Binary she in bed.

I also have become much more romantic, sensual, gentle...
I wonder how far it will go with me? Everything is getting more femme.

Wow. I write a post to stimulate deep thought on the matter of attraction, and instead everyone's getting horny. *sigh*

Wow. I write a post to stimulate deep thought on the matter of attraction, and instead everyone's getting horny. *sigh* Sorry. Easy to get back on track though. I think we are just wired in certain ways. I noticed that the attraction runs heavy to guys with soft voices and strong arms. I personally find that very attractive.

OK. Getting back to the OP.
When I am attracted to someone there is some underlying force or energy that synergises/interacts/resonates/connects with me/my spirit/my core. Attraction can be physical but frankly this never secures and maintains my full attention. There is a certain type of person that excites, intrigues and interests me - they are usually energetic, passionate, athletic or gamine, smart, independent, curious, empathetic, low ego, androgynous women.
There is definitely some kind of intangible, yet highly intuitive communication or connection which drives this attraction, and there's nothing I can do about it. Because it's not a choice. Indeed some of my most passionate relationships have been unexpected and have swung quickly from a strong dislike to a strong and compelling attraction.
Safe travels

Safe travels Aisla I agree with the comments entirely and especially the final sentence, I think it's because love is the backside of hatred, both are passion driven and the slightest change in nuance can easily flip that coin from the negative to the positive. There are some who I have held a strong dislike for that have said or done something that enabled me to suddenly see them in a different and very positive light.

there are features i love, and features i absolutely don't care too much for. personality can make up for some, but not all.
women are generally easier to like (or not feel any physical aversion to). that's most likely a biological thing, as men are nature's experiment, and women/society are meant to choose only the men with superior genes. whatever that means in today's society, but it usually includes a lot of testosterone. some statistics suggest that women prefer the mellow for lifelong partnership, but the testosterone bombs for procreation. a funny thing, really, being biologically programmed to feel a stronger sexual attraction towards men with a stronger drive. makes sense though, since we wouldn't want too many asexual kids. unless we want to eradicate humanity...
i can't really say for certain what it is that attracts me. i'm rather pansexual, but also work in a somewhat demisexual way. too easy to develop strong feelings for good friends. though also able to feel attraction at first sight.
i have troubles with loving though, since i seem to be very backwards at that. might have to do with being trans. or it's just me being me. i've no idea about that, since it seems even cis people have all kinds of weird sexualities.

A couple of other thoughts:
Humor, authenticity/honesty and values driven are also characteristic of those who I have fallen hard for, and been stronglyy attracted to.
Further, I wasn't able to move from instant chemistry to a more substantive love until I moved from a situation where I didn't or couldn't love myself, to one where I found an understanding, acceptance, celebration and love of self. It was only then that I believed that I could be loved, could recognise, accept or reciprocate this love without fear and without reservation. Was this due to my long felt shame or fear at discovery that I was 'different', that I was flawed, that I was trans? Quite likely.
Safe travels

A certain look in the eye. Defining that look is impossible, it depends on the person. A hesitation when looking away perhaps, a lingering look. But even then, there are always so many other things that factor in. But that's the start of it, usually.

Then there's the times when some pretty thing was looking my way and we make eye contact that lingers long enough to suggest there's mutual attraction. I avoid that as much as possible, because I've been known to walk into it with eyes wide shut and it's never good.

I actually have pondered on my sexuality and attraction multiple times. I still currently do from time to time.
Back when i was a child i was actually into girls more, and i would chase them around playground during recess trying to kiss their hands. I remember i had a crush on a classmate in 2nd grade, then in 4th grade i had a crush on my best friend until 9th grade, and i remember i really liked this girl in 7th grade, and it hurt really bad when she turned me down.
Now for the interesting part, when i hit teen years and high school my attraction switched over to guys, and i had a really hard time trying to accept the fact i liked guys. It was a really dark time full of self hatred, and confusion. Until i finally accepted that I was attracted to guys, and was gay.
Haha sorry now that my backstory is over with. Umm it really is actually interesting and I've questioned why am i attracted to guys more? The funny thing is though i actually don't really like the typical athletic, manly, sporty, or "straight " type of guys. I'm more attracted to, and like guys who are more feminine, or balanced between being both masc/fem. I also really really like the more awkward, geeky, nerdy, and alternative/punk rock type of guys/male identified.
Hmmm... what else is it that i find so attractive towards guys? Uhhh hmm well I don't i tend to go by more personality when I'm into people. And i usually notice their eyes first, and facial structure. And I'll admit i gotta check out the booty! I kinda find flat butts boring. I like something there i can squeeze, and just hold or smack.
But yeah, i pretty much just know i feel more of an attraction and enjoyment, and reaction below waist when i kiss a guy/male identified person. I've kissed girls a few times, but like there's nothing there. Like nothing that i feel when I'm with a guy. When it comes to girls/female identified people i tend to mostly just feel platonic around them.
I have thought about it several times, and kinda wish i were more pansexual, where I'd be opened to everyone romantically, and sexually. But woooww i loved reading through this thread, and so glad someone else actually questions and thinks about this!! Because i pretty much ponder my attraction multiple times.
