Become a Chinese Emperor? I hear harems are plenty. I dunno, on second thought I probably couldn't stand the squabbling to say nothing of the problems of all that tampax clogging up the plumbing, what about credit cards for each? No I can't deal with the drama....

I have heard of someone doing that. They wanted to preserve their ability to have children, keeping those testicles internally so they aren't completely losing their ability to have biological children.
Someone in the phalloplasty group asked a similar thing, they wanted to have a hysto but keep the ovaries in so even after phalloplasty, they still have viable eggs/embyros should they desire biological children down the track. They're obviously not going to be using their own body to have children though.
I can't personally understand why they would do this because I have no desire to have biological children but from an outsider's perspective, having seen grown women and men cry over the prospect of not being able to have children, I can understand why people want to keep their options open.
Removing testicles and ovaries is a very final thing. Once they're gone, you're sterile for life. Tell me about it, mutant ninja here! Looking for a job as overseer of a harem. Thought you already are...

full functionality is important to me too. I'm a very sexual person. That does kind of require one or the other unfortunately. But I can always dream of being a mutant superhuman with fully functioning male and female parts *sigh* Tecnically i suppose its possible in a way as a no op full transition...kinda... I mean, we do get penetrated...we do climax from behind...i do... I dunno. And that was tmi on my part. But relevent.

Just wanted to add my thanks for sharing, Sisyphus. Knowing I'm not alone brings me great comfort. Thank you for your brave honesty. Sorry my words are belated. So was my arrival, you see.

Not so much to resurrect an old subject and I indeed may be intersex myself. Small below the legs and larger on the chest and so on. I never really checked on it because my genatalia is not ambiguous, they are there but barely. In Greek Mythology. Hermes was the god of war and the essence of masculinity and Aphrodite was the goddess of feminine sexuality, sensuality and the essence of femininity. And naming a condition after Gods in that culture was an honor instead of an insult. So an Hermaphrodite has actual origins of great reverence in the person being touched and representing both Hermes and Aphrodite. Later on when the Romans stole the mythology of Greece Hermes became Mars and Aphrodite became Venus. So I guess Men do come from Mars and Women from Venus but what happens when you have someone from both? Marvenus. Or actually Marvelous. I really don't know the origin of the word. But shit. I will own it. BTW I don't find she-male or tranny offensive. If it gets people to recognize us and that is the lingo they use then so be it. There are a lot of guys turned on by she-males and trannies even if they don't admit it. There are quite a few that are "curious". Yeah right. Trans "curious" my ass. They like one thing like femininity but like something else too because of maybe some experimentation or infatuation earlier in life but still like the feminine aspects in someone. There is no shortage. In another thread which really helped me overcome the power of the word itself, "Queer" don't even bother me anymore. Words can only hurt as much as we allow them to hurt us. Slugs from rounds in a firearm really hurt. Getting your ass beaten really hurts. Unless it is erotic spanking of course. Getting jumped by a group of ignorant idiots and beaten hurts. But words and names? Not so much. I have been called them all and in the very beginning I let it get to me a little. Now though, I could give a fuck less what someone calls me. Except for one. If I am indeed and Hermaphrodite, I am still someone. If I am called a She-male, I am someone. If I am called a Tranny, I am someone. If I am an "It or thing" then that objectifies me and makes me nothing more than an object. Even if someone calls me an "It" then I treat them like an object too. Eventually my attitude may get me killed but at least not in vain though.
