Anyone grow more upstairs once eighteen months hrt are done? I am still a cups... Most women continue to develop, 18 months may be the biggest growth period for a pubescent cis girl, but they continue to grow beyond that. My spouse was a small B for many years and is D now though she hasn't gained more than 12 pounds since she was 22 when we married. I've been on HRT for 20+ years and my left one is finally catching up with the right one, so I daresay that you can throw all the rules out the window when it comes to boobs, especially on MtF folks.

Progesterone ladies. Micronized. Progesterone plays on important role on natal female breast growth, and in the development of lobules and milk ducts, especially in pregnant women.
Much of the breast is adipose (fat) tissue, and you need fat in your diet to help the proper distribution. Look at gymnasts, swimmers, and other female athletes who have a low bodyfat percentage, and you will notice they have small breasts. Look at a pregnant woman and you will see fully developed breasts.

Actually, pubescent cis girls manage to develop their breasts with none to minimal amounts of progesterone and even then it's a small, often irregular, window where it's available. Can this myth die please?

Actually, pubescent cis girls manage to develop their breasts with none to minimal amounts of progesterone and even then it's a small, often irregular, window where it's available. Can this myth die please? Sorry to intrude on the thread ladies but this is something that I do have a bit of experience with so I wanted to add my two cents.Yes, progesterone does cause development and maturation of the breast glands - in natural circumstances this would only occur in pregnancy or breastfeeding but we are able to add our own hormones. The reason there is a variance in whether or not a woman's breasts enlarge with childbirth, breastfeeding, and progesterone will depend upon whether her breasts are primarily fatty tissue or primarily glandular tissue, and here is why: Inside of the breasts, there are three primary types of tissue: glands, fat, and ligaments. Ligaments will not really respond to any hormones. Estrogen is the hormone that causes fat to be stored within the breasts, as well as develop the breast glands but NOT fully mature them. The glands are matured by being exposed to progesterone, which causes them to branch out and produce more developed milk reservoirs. Some women have very 'dense' breasts, as my gynecologist calls them. They are very glandular, often feel firmer and less squishy to the hands, and are more difficult to read in a mammogram so it sometimes causes physicians to be nervous that there could be a risk of not detecting problems. Other women have breasts that are not dense - they may be smaller or larger or the same size, but they are made primarily of fatty tissues and thus feel softer. Since only the glands are going to respond to progesterone, women with a large amount of glandular tissue may have a much more dramatic response than women whose breasts are mostly composed of fatty tissue or ligaments or are a more even mixture of fat and glands. There is another way to increase the glandular tissue in breasts by doing lactation cycles which, if done properly, create a demand for more milk than your glands can produce, spurring your body to create and mature more glands. The final size will be the size of them right after emptying, by the way, not the way they look when they are completely full. Also, you must wean very slowly or the skin will remain stretched out and thus will give the appearance of a flatter chest even if there is an increase in tissue volume. I cannot be entirely certain that this is the same case for transwomen because I am actually a ciswoman who was misdiagnosed as an FtM and am restoring my body to its prior state, but I would imagine that your breast glands probably respond in a similar way.

I've had some surprising breast growth in just under two months taking only Estradiol and Spironolactone. I'm not opposed to adding a small dose of progesterone, though, if it would help.

I've been on HRT for six months now, and I already have decent A cups. I'm really hoping my genes allow me to reach a C cup, but I'll take a B. I would really like to look good in tank tops or something like this:

WHAT?....I'm gonna get boobs? icon_wow Ok seriously, mine just now seem to be really taking off, at the 16 month mark. They were doing the slow and gradual periodic "hey, look at us now" thing, but lately are going by leaps and bounds (in my world at least). I am now a full B cup, I was having dinner the other night with an old girlfriend from the 80's and she said my mom was a 'big' D size. I was suprised to say the least, of coarse I'm not sure how many pay attention to that. The injectable estradiol set the stage I think but the last 6 months of Prometrium lit the fuse. "Engage" as Cap't Kirk would say . Dani
